Background blur and background removal
Mis à jour le 22 juil. 2026
Sometimes the fastest way to protect a photo is the other way around: keep your subject and handle everything else at once.
Background blur
Turn on background blur and everything around your kept subjects is blurred in one switch. Detected targets you set to keep stay sharp; the rest of the frame is covered. This is ideal when the background is full of bystanders, screens, or documents that would take long to mask one by one.
Background removal
Using the same subject selection, you can remove the background entirely instead of blurring it. The result keeps your subject on a clean backdrop, which doubles as a quick way to prepare profile photos or product shots.
Combining with per-target masks
Background blur and individual target masks work together. A common setup: keep the main subject, blur the background, and additionally pixelate one target in the foreground that needs stronger treatment.
