BlurMe works the same way for photos, videos, and PDFs: upload, review what the AI found, then export. This guide walks through the full flow.

1. Upload your file

Open the Studio and drop in a photo, a video, or a PDF. You can also click the upload area and pick a file. Detection starts automatically; there is nothing to configure before uploading.

You do not need an account to try this. Guest uploads work with the full detection pipeline, and are removed automatically after about one day.

2. Review the detections

Every detected target appears as its own item: a face, a person, a vehicle, a license plate, or a piece of text in a PDF. For each target you decide what happens:

  • Mask keeps the target covered in the export. This is the default.
  • Keep leaves the target visible. Use it for people who gave consent, or for your main subject.

Anything the AI missed can be added by hand: click the object in the canvas, or draw a manual region.

3. Export

When the preview looks right, export. Images keep their original resolution, videos render up to 4K, and PDF exports physically remove the selected text from the file. Exports consume credits; uploading and reviewing is free, so you only spend credits when the result is what you want.

If something looks wrong

  • A missed face or object: click it in the canvas to add it as a target.
  • A false detection: toggle that target to Keep, or exclude it from the list.
  • Upload rejected: check the file format and size limits in the supported files article.
